We’re a remote– first, globally distributed team of 100+ people based in the US, UK, Europe, Africa, Korea, Israel and everywhere in between. We are looking for a Visual Designer to join our dynamic team working to build a best in class global food platform within Samsung. This role is a part– time contract, remote– based.

The Role

As Visual Designer, you will help set the visual quality and tone for Whisk across our marketing programs and product experiences. You will work closely with the growth, design and product teams to produce a variety of visual assets that clearly communicate Whisk’s value in an engaging and exciting way to both Users and Creators across our social channels, website, acquisition and retention campaigns, and apps.

In this role you will have the opportunity to exercise your creative muscle and leverage your previous experience to tell Whisk’s story and shape how Whisk is perceived across all Users and Creators– facing touch points.

You will work with a talented, diverse, and globally distributed team – based primarily in the US and Europe.


  • Produce visual assets (layouts, graphics, gifs, videos, etc) in support of marketing initiatives that elevate our narratives across websites, email, social, ads, web/mobile apps, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross– functional partners to craft narratives and bring initiatives to life visually. Understand business initiatives, strategic positioning, timelines, and target audiences, and be able to pivot if needed to meet company and team goals.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming creative requests quickly and efficiently to meet tight schedules.
  • Elevate our brand and visual language across the platform. Ensure consistent, cohesive, and high– quality design execution that captivates and delights our global audiences.
  • Facilitate efficient internal design feedback cycles. Gracefully give and receive feedback relating to the critique of performance and work product.


  • 4+ years of design experience with multi– channel creative campaigns including landing page, digital advertising, email design, or other marketing and communication design work.
  • An outstanding portfolio of work demonstrating mastery in creating effective human– centered design solutions with measurable results.
  • Highly refined aesthetic sense (typography, layout, composition, etc) and strong understanding of visual principles and execution in products and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to put work in narrative context. You can build strong rationale based on insights and data.
  • Ability to take in ambiguous goals, drive clarity, and deliver high– quality results under pressure. Comfortable working to challenging deadlines in a fast– paced, iterative environment.
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Self– starter who is intrinsically motivated and owns your own success metrics.
  • Ability to manage feedback about your own work from a variety of stakeholders as well as delivering clear, constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Highly proficient in tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Final Cut.
  • Motion design and video editing experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable reviewing data with cross– function partners and draw actionable insights to improve performance.
