Funraise is hiring a Webflow Designer/Developer to manage our marketing web properties. This role will work closely with our Creative and Marketing teams to bring marketing campaigns and our brand to life through high– quality web experiences with a focus on conversion goals, page performance, and responsive design.

You’ll work closely with graphic designers and writers to conceptualize, feedback, and produce engaging online experiences for our customers, potential customers, and the nonprofit community. Funraise has an established brand with multiple sites that will require updates and maintenance but you’ll also be challenged to create entirely new web experiences.

Funraise does not cut corners in brand experience. This role will be expected to create and maintain industry– leading, scalable, and fast website infrastructure with a commitment to design quality. Strong typographic and layout skills are essential.

We’re looking for a web designer who thinks technically, someone who can design and build delightful web experiences while ensuring web standards and maintaining efficient infrastructure. Someone who visits awwwards, but also someone who optimizes towards functionality and performance.

Funraise’s marketing sites are built on Webflow, so this role will require in– depth knowledge and experience with Webflow.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain our web properties in Webflow
  • Ensure high standards of performance, responsiveness, and accessibility
  • Standardize our Webflow build and processes enabling the marketing team to scale our site efficiently using Webflow’s CMS features
  • Contribute to digital brand touchpoints, including email designs
  • Receive and respond to feedback. Share feedback with the team.
  • Follow brand guidelines and prioritize brand consistency across web spaces
  • Prioritize high– quality web design and functionality
  • Work with the marketing team to implement updates and new campaigns
  • Build, monitor, and report on web performance dashboards
  • Identify and resolve issues and bugs quickly
  • Implement A/B tests and continually improve web performance
  • Monitor and improve SEO performance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a full– time creative environment as a web designer or developer, whether in– house, agency, or freelance
  • Expertise in web design fundamentals including typography, color, layout, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Expertise in evolving web standards and best practices
  • Expertise in Webflow
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Optimize, and Google Tag Manager
  • Expertise in social and external platform tracking (pixels, events, and tracking scripts)
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Expertise in responsive layouts
  • Exceptional technical problem– solving skills
  • Excellent portfolio demonstrating successful website design and development with a focus on brand and marketing sites
  • Ability to explain ideas and respond to feedback both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple projects
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Results driven mindset and attitude

Bonus points:

  • Formal education in design, development, or related field is preferred but not required
  • Experience with web animation, for example, lottie
  • Experience writing and testing email code

Job salary range:

  • $75k – $110k Annually

Interview Process:

  • Submit resume and portfolio
  • 30– minute phone screening with Funraise’s Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
  • 1 hr group interview (on Zoom) with Hiring Manager and cross functional team
  • Reference checks
  • Offer made to candidate

30, 60, 90 Day Ramp Up & Expectations for the Role

  • At 30 days you will have: completed onboard training and met with your peers in all departments; become an expert in Funraise’s brand, product, and market; engaged with your team and embedded into status meetings and workflows; made updates to websites; received and implemented feedback; created performance dashboards; assumed responsibility for all Funraise marketing web spaces
  • At 60 days you will have: contributed to campaign ideation and brainstorms; designed web layouts for new campaigns; implemented A/B tests; managed production timelines; made changes based on analysis and performance dashboards
  • At 90 days you will have: increased engagement and trust with website visitors; managed the prioritization between web maintenance and new projects
  • By 1 year: contributed to the growth of Funraise’s digital brand identity; incorporated new web trends into Funraise’s digital brand identity

Your contribution will be reviewed on your ability to do the following:

  • Work with new trends and standards in web design
  • Efficiently produce web pages and campaign experiences
  • Manage workload, roadmap, and meet deadlines
  • Respond to and give feedback

  • Maintain efficient and secure web properties
