Job Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will concept and craft compelling, beautiful content for a variety of social media strategies.

You will be assisting in social– first video and photo assets, and managing both social & content production calendars. The ideal candidate is someone who lives and breathes social media, has experience on camera & creating social content, and is a flexible team player with a positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively monitor, engage & address users on social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) in the brand’s tone of voice.
• Assist in compiling social performance reports, analyzing results, and synthesizing findings to make strategy & content recommendations.
• Collaborate in designs predominantly on Asana and Vecteezy’s in– house content. Assisting in– house designers with the editing of photo & video content.
• Ideate and facilitate production and post– production of short– form video deliverables, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Must be comfortable with showing face in video and on socials.
• Manage all social content and identify content needs. Managing social media calendar and executing the daily posting schedule.
• Assist with social copywriting and scheduling for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook, aligning with the brand’s voice.
• Active engagement in all social platforms to make recommendations for content creation.
• Attend weekly meetings & brainstorms and be responsible for agendas & recaps.
• Escalate issues and concerns seen on social media to the Customer Service in a timely manner.
• Assist in cross– functional marketing departments as needed for major product launches and events
• Comfortable in front of the camera and act as the voice of the brand on our social media channels consistently

Requirements

• Previous work experience in Social Media
• Background in graphic design is a plus
• Must be comfortable in front of the camera & willing to appear on our social channels
• Willing to learn basic photo/video editing software and/or in apps.
• Familiarity with design trends, design topics, design tools, and design culture
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and work against tight deadlines
• Excellent english speaking and writing abilities
• Excellent English verbal communication skills
• Creativity and thoughtful problem solving skills
• Experience working with any Adobe CC apps is a plus

• You have 1– 2 years of experience in social media
• You have a strong compass for great design
• You are an excellent writer and communicator
• You can take a rough notes on a social media project and bring back a finished product that’s ready to deliver
• You’re a self– starter and you can give feedback in a positive way
• You have a passion for designers, design trends, and design tools
• You are a strong team player with a positive attitude
