Metaverse Designer

Job Summary:

We are at the beginning of our journey into the Metaverse. Just as the technology supporting this often murky and ill– defined concept is evolving, so are the potential applications and uses of it. Despite the undeniable potential of these new forms of interaction, it will be meaningless until someone actualizes that potential. Apply all your experience and creativity to help define the future and realize that potential as we chart our course.

As a Senior Metaverse Designer, you will

• Work closely with CTO and a small team of technical and business leaders to imagine, design and prototype fun, engaging and meaningful experiences in the Metaverse
• Research and evaluate collaborative VR platforms to identify the most promising and best suited for Aquent’s business needs
• Collaboratively imagine VR/Metaverse use cases aligned with Aquent’s core and emerging business offerings
• Prototype, experiment and iterate to find what fits and what won’t
• Ultimately, help lead the implementation of whatever we discover

To succeed in this role, you will need to bring

• Exceptional visual and technical understanding in rendering and asset creation
• A keen interest in the application of VR/AR technologies, not just the platforms
• Work directly with one of the following: Meta Quest/2, HTC VIVE, Microsoft HoloLens, PlayStation VR, Google Cardboard, ect.
• A self– motivated yet collaborative approach
• Creative thinking and the ability to learn quickly
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Comfort with uncertainty
